WILMINGTON ORTHODONTIC CENTER
Orthodontics for teens
The teen years are important in orthodontics given that the treatments are more efficient and faster when timed with growth. Orthodontic problems don’t improve with age, they simply become harder to treat. It’s easier to treat many orthodontic problems during adolescence because the body is still growing rapidly at this time. Whether we use standard braces, or appliances like palatal expanders, we can create an improved appearance and function in a short period of time. In later years, when the bones of the face and jaw are fully developed, many conditions become more difficult (and costly) to treat.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT US
Discover the reasons why we're the smartest choice for your best smile
- My daughter braces were put on today, her experience was delightful. The dental assistant Jocelyn * I hope I spelled her name correctly* was pleasant, informative, fast, and welcoming. She made my daughter and I very comfortable all the while helping a new dental assistant learn the process. If her next step is to become a doctor I know she’ll be the best!
